They were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The house was spotless and had the coolest gadgets in the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom was spacious and had plenty of storage. The separate bathroom was private and easily accessible. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious. Polruan is a buzzing little town, with a boat yard and convenient shops. Despite the drab weather, we had an incredible time. Big thanks to Alison and her friendly cats!

A shared kitchen? How quaint! And free parking, like finding a unicorn. The terrace was a lovely touch, perfect for sipping tea and pretending I was a character in a Jane Austen novel.
Oh, navigating Cornwall's roads in a big car was simply delightful. Nothing like a little adventure to keep the heart racing.

Alison, the owner, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She provided us with helpful information about local restaurants and the ferry. We were able to choose from a variety of breakfast options, which was a great bonus. The house and garden were both beautifully maintained, adding to the overall charm of our romantic escape. The location was perfect, with plenty of activities and shops nearby.
The steep hill leading to the hotel, which could be a bit challenging to climb, especially after a few drinks. the ferry to Fowey was a bit pricey, which was a bit of a disappointment.

The house is situated on top of a very steep hill, making it a challenge to reach the village center after a few drinks. However, the bedroom is spacious and well-kept, with ample storage space for clothes and belongings. The bathroom, although separate from the bedroom, is easily accessible and private. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, and the host is friendly and accommodating. The house itself is immaculate and tastefully decorated, with quirky gadgets in the kitchen and bathroom.
Roads in the area can be difficult to navigate, but this adds to the charm of the location.
